Soldiers, Witches and Taverns Book by William O. Dwyer

Soldiers, Witches and Taverns is an historical novel about the adventures of two families who lived in colonial New York and New England during the 150 years prior to the Nation’s founding. Most of the people in the story really existed; they were discovered during the author’s forty years of family history research and are now brought back to life in this gripping tale. Furthermore, many of the events in the story actually occurred. Through these historical forebearers and facts, the author has woven an exciting tale that ties them all together in a way that gives the reader an appreciation for what life was like in 17th and 18th century America.
