Bhartiyavani: BJP's Latest Move for Lok Sabha Elections 2024

In a significant development in BJP news regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, Hansraj Hans, the renowned singer-turned-politician, has been slated to contest from Faridkot. This announcement comes as part of the BJP's eighth list of candidates released late Saturday evening, encompassing strategic selections across various states.
Notably, the roster includes candidates for three Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, six in Punjab, and two in West Bengal. The unveiling of this list brings attention to the reshuffling within the party, evidenced by the cancellation of sitting MP and Bollywood luminary Sunny Deol's ticket from the Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constituency in Punjab. Dinesh Singh has been nominated in his stead. The decision to replace Deol underscores the BJP's commitment to strategic candidate selection and responsiveness to evolving political dynamics.
Moreover, the list features a slew of MPs from diverse political backgrounds who have joined the BJP ranks, indicative of the party's expanding influence and inclusive approach. Among these notable figures are Bhartrihari Mahtab, Ravneet Singh Bittu, Sushil Kumar Rinku, and Preneet Kaur, all of whom will be contesting from their respective constituencies, having recently switched allegiance to the BJP. This strategic maneuver not only bolsters the BJP's candidate pool but also underscores the party's ability to attract seasoned politicians from other parties.
