A part-turn electric actuator, also referred to as a quarter-turn electric valve actuator or 1/4 turn electric actuator, typically provides an output of 90° and a stroke not exceeding 360°. It is extensively employed for driving valves with Quarter turn strokes, including ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers. In scenarios where valve torque is minimal or space is constrained, opting for the lightweight Quarter turn electric actuator is advisable. Conversely, when dealing with significant valve torque, the electric actuator with a worm gear reducer is a suitable choice.
